Napier, This Day. The following are the remainder of second day's results : — "Winter Oats Handicap, 1 mile.— Menura, 1; Waimoe, 2 ; Gold Duat, 3. Dividends, JE3 7s andl £1 12s. Hunters' Handicap Hurdles, 1J miles. —Modesty, 1; Hinewai, 2; Draga, 3. Dividends, £5 18s and 149.
Second Handicap Hurdles, If miles. — Rags, 1; Smithy, 2; Mourner, 3. Dividend, £3 13s. Farewell Steeplechase, 2J miles.—The Gryphon, 1; Straybird, 2; Counterbine, 3. Dividends, £2 15s and 19s.
Newstead Hack Handicap, 7 furlongs. —Creusot, 1; Optimist, 2; Andree, 3, Dividends, £3 3s and 15s.
Tho jockey, Hutchineon, who was injured through Umslopagaas falling with him in the Farewell Steeplechase race, at Napier, has recovered consciousness in the hospital, and is doing well. His collarbone and an arm' are broken.
