Mr Buick's Clearing Sale.

Messrs Lowes and lorns, Ltd., report as follows with regard to the clearing sale ot stock, implements, etc., held yesterday, on behalf of the estate of tho lato Mr W. B. Buick:—The sale was most satisfactory throughout. Buyers wero in attendance from the Lower Valley, Bush district, Dannevirke and Palmerston. Bidding was free and spirited throughout, and the whole of a large catalogue was disposed of at good prices. The dairy cows elicited keen competition, one Jersey heifer calf realising £10. Forword wothers made 13s; store lambs, 8s 3d; stud Shropshire rams, £ to 4-} guineas ; stud ewes, 1;} to 2J guineas ; ewe lambs, 1 guinea; ram lambs, 1. guineas; dairy cows, from £4 to £12; 2-year draught horses, from £13 to £30; light horses, unbroken, £8 to £13 10s; implements at good relative values.
