The Attorney-General gavo notice that ho would move that {ho call of the Council's bo made for July 9th for the election of Speaker.

The Attorney-General referred in terms of deep regret to tho losses sustained by the Council by tho deaths of tho late Hons. G. S. Whitmore, M. S. Grace, J. B. Morris and W. Swanson. He moved that the Houso at its rising adjourn to Thursday, as a mark of respect to the deceased members.

Hon. T. K. Macdonald gavo notice that he would move the Address-in-Reply next sitting day.

The Council then adjourned till 8 o'clock, when the Imprest Supply Bill was to-bo considered.

On resuming in the evening the Imprest Supply Bill was passed through all its stages without discussion.
