Destruction of the Stoke Orphanage.

\.tiy 'Telegraph—Press Associationy Nf.lson, This Day. The Boys' Orphanage at Stoko was completely destroyed by tiro at 2.i10 this morning. Tho headmaster discovered tho firo in tho boys' dressing-room, in tho upporstoroy of tho north-east building, and the fire spread rapidly. Tho master removed two boys who wero in tho hospital, and got tho other boys from the burning building. There wero 112 boys In tho institution, and so far as known, all escaped, though ill their night clothes. Somo secured their blankets. A small harmonium, and a few other things, wero saved, but the boys aro left without wearing clothes.
