The weather is tine, with a fierce Norwester blowing which sweeps across the playing ground. Hay joined Mahony and at 49 ibo former was given out J.b.w. to Thompson for 11. Tucker filled the vacancy, and played tho first ball on to the wicket without removing tho bails.
