In the introduction of Angora goals there are possibilities so far mithought of. They have been acclimatised in Australia and New Zealand for many years past, but none of these colonies appear to have fathomed the lull extent of profit to be made from them. A wellknown firm of runholders in South Australia has paid great attention to the breeding of Angoras. Their experience is interesting. Mr E. C. Kenipe, Australian partner of the firm, writes in Dalgetty's Jicviav that everyone who has tasted Angora venison declares in favour of it. The groat drawback is that people will not oat goat meat, and the prejudice remains until they do. The venison is stated to bo far superior to ordinary mutton. Angora skins also bring a higher prieo than sheepskins. The wool has brought 10d a pound all round in Australia and '2s in London, Angoras can live and thrive in great stress of weather, both hot and cold, and, so far, they arc believed to bo immune from disease of any kind.
