Trumper and Duff rattled up fortyfour before they were separated by Wells bowling Trumper. Hill mado a single and was thon bowled by Boldaua. 2 for 47. Noble came in just in time to see Duff stumped. Three for 47. Armstrong joined Noblo and both commenced steadily, scoring oqually Well. After carrying the total to a and forty-four, Wells dismissed Armstrong for forty-soven.
