Noumea, January 2.
The schooners Envy and Vision have arrived bore from Auckland. They will have to discbarge their cargo in quarantine. Tbe coastal service has been stopped, iu order to prevent the introduction of the plague inland. No fresh cases were reported on Saturday or Sunday. To-day, bowever, one Tonkinese and a young Englishman died from the disease. Two Kanakas, an Arab and n European were taken from tbe infected quarter to-day and placed in quarantine,
