Outrage after outrage bad been committed upon tbe broadest constitu tiooal principles with impunity, He bad tried to afoid extreme measures in dealing with the Upper House, but before Übbeginning of another session he would take praotical measures to S'aco tbe relationship of the two ouses on a difiorent footing, (The Early Closing and Arbitration and Conciliation Bills have been passed, Mr Gopelaud's motion for the introduction of a Sunday Trading Bill ;ftai negatived.
