SHOOTING A SEAMAN. (Received December 14,11.20 p.m) Sydney, December H, The ship Republic, which recently returned twice to port leaking, was about to put to sea again to-day, but the pilot found astute of unpreparednessaboard. Hereportedthe matter to the Marine Board, and the Water Polico went aboard ouly to lind that the men refused to go to sea in the vessel. Captain Moore drew a revolverand fired, shooting a inembet of the crew iu oue of his legs, but not seriously. The captain wasarrested.
