(From Our Own Correspondent). Wednesday, For failing to destroy rabbits on his properly, George Walcrjon was fined C2, and James Knowlcs ,C 3 at the Magistrate's Court yesterday, by Mr W. It. Jlasclden, S.M, Inspector Wayne prosecuted, Three informations for alleged breaches of the Licensing Act against Alfred A. Elkins, licensee of the Taratahi Hold, were heard at the Carterton S.M. Court, yesterday, and dismissed, At the half-yearly meeting of Carterton Tent of llcchabitcs I.O.I!,, the following" officers were installed:—O.K., llro. ftcilso-i; D.K., I)ro. F. The Carterton Brass Hand has been engaged to play at the Carterton Cycling Chip Sports on Boxing Day.
