BOOKMAKERS OR THE "TOTE." (By Telegraph-Press Association), Wbllikotox, Saturday. ..As the result of a circular sent '#by the Stewards of tho Wellington Kncing Club,seventeen members have expressed themselves in favor of bookmakers being allowed to ply their calling nt tho Club's Spring jleeting, and thirty-soven against. In consequonco of this expression of opinion the Stewnrds have rescinded the motion passed nt tho annual meeting affirming tho desirability of licensing bookmakers at next week's races,
