However, he did not see. his way to decline to give information on this head. He must decline, however, to disclose any private accounts of the Bank, He was willing to give the totals, but not the individual accounts. Tho witness complained that an imperfect account of his answer regarding the cessation of the Bank's advance business in Australia had been cabled to Australia and had douo tho Bank injury. Mr Seddon then moved that tho Committeo adjourn till 10.30 on Weduesday, He thought .this should he dono in tho face of two extremo speeches that had been made on the Banking question during Friday's debate by Messrs W. I Hutchison and Crowthor. He repeated it was unfair that the Committee should sit while a no-confid-enco motion was going on, as tho members could obtain pabulum from the proceedings of the committee for speeches' of an extreme character .on the Banking question.
