Afossrs Lowes & lorns rorabt at their fortnightly stock salof|terday:—Stock was considerably in exK3,i of advertised list, and the quality throughout being good, tho bidding was spirited, nearly every pen selling under tho hammer. Tho L cattlo en tries wore confined to a few pons of beef, young stores, and dairy cows, ail of which found purchasers, stores still being low. A few pigs were penned, but the season being against thorn, pricos rnled low.. Seyoral horses were offered, but none were sold by auction. Pat ewes, 6s » to 6s 6d; empty forward owes, ss. 6<l; forward wethers, 7s; stores, fa to 6d 6d; good breeding owes, ss, 6 8 and 6s Id; medium, 3s to4s6-'d•' culls, 2i; small 2-tooth, 3s <&'. culled lambs, Is 6d; rama, 2-trjofch* 265; ram lambs, 15s; fat cows' heavy, £4 5s to £5; dairy CoW a' ' ordinary, £i sa ; yearlings and 18 months cattle, 335; jigs, 5s to 14b
