Mr Macdonald, Crown Prosecutor, stated that Professor Black, a most material witness, was now engaged in a gravo matter iu Dunedin.
An adjournment was granted till Tuesday afternoon, by which time, it is expected, tbo inquest on tho other child, Eva Hornsby, will have been completed.
