Annual Examination,
Tlio children of St. Patrick's School were examined on Wednesday and Thursday by tho Bev. Father Goggan, S.M., lioriifm Catholic Inspector of Schools iu the Archdiocese of Wellington. ( The reverend gentleman expressed himself much pleased with tho progress made by the children during' the past year, and commented particularly on their excellent discipline. Tho following is the pass-list: Seventh Standard—Edgar Richards.
Sixth—Frank Brzoska, Bertie Chapman, Patrick O'Leary, Alice Chapman, Mary Connell, Mary Hourigau,
Fifth—Thos Cashion.M. Mulcahy, J, Trcder,
Fourth-John Glennan, Joseph O'Leary, Hugh Richards, John Minoguo. Third—J. Brzoska, P. Carr, T. Can', J. Fitzgerald, David Mulcahy, Humphrey O'Leary, James Potter, Denis O'Sullivan, Maud Chapman, Ellen Connell, Margaret Hourigau. Second—A, Brzoska, M. McMullen, Jacob Rzoska, John O'Sullivan, Kate Chapman.
First—Nellio Mulcahy, Alice Montgomery, Katie Reardon, Ted O'Sullivan, George Powell, John Hanley, Chas. Jackson, Horace Fitzsinimous,' Wynsmore Brittain.
Out of j>4 children presented, 53, or 8.) per cent, passed, which is certainly \ory creditable to tho school management.
