A well-filled house greeted the favorite Kennedy Company at the Theatre Royal last evening, despite the unpropitious weather, and all were well repaid fur braving the elements, The drama " Current Cash" has been played several times in Masterton, and the plot needs no description, but the manner in which ill was placed on tho boards last evening was a credit to tho management, All the characters were in capable bauds, Mr J, J. ; Kennedy excelling} himself as the verdant' Lincoln Green, and, causing no I end of amusement by his conception, |of the charaotet The diffioulfcpart of |" One-eye".. was. taken: by Mr, F, :Nortou.in.his..usual, excellent style, and the villiau was in capable bands when entrusted- to: Mr Harry Saville. i sh>hirQ(ae:pf ;'QvM JJik
ton (Miss.Lily Hill),acted throughout ' V in, a very, feeling manner, and Misa ! Millio Collier, as Delia Ohallis, by ber bright and vivacious kctiag, was soon a firm favorite with the audience. All the minor parts were well taken, Mr Hill, as the rollicking Ned Bowlca, being in his elemont... To-night' that, pleasing musical comedy "Hans the Boatman" will be staged, with Mr Ohas, Hill and Miss Millie Collier in tho principal characters.
