To increase the width ot tho metalled portion of the Main Road through Eketahuna. A meeting of ratepayers to consider this proposal will be held at tho Waugaehu school house at NOON on SATURDAY, tlio 27th July, 1839. 3. To erect bridges over the Akitio, Aohongo, and Mataikuna Rivera, and construct tho necessary approaches thereto. The amount proposed to be borrowed is £BOOO The amount to bo set apart in each year for paving off tho loan is 1400, to meet which a special rate of 41-G4tlis of a penny in the pound will bo mado on tlio rateable value of the property m the Akitio riding the boundaries whereof aro coterminous with those of the Akitio Road District as described on page 1518 of the New Zealand Gazette, No 61, dated 2ot)i November 1886. A meeting of ratepayers to consider this propositi will be held at tho ollice of the Akitio Road Board at noon on Saturday, tho 27th July 1889.
