The races will be ran under the Wairarapa Jockey Club rules, when not contrary to these regulations. The saddling bell will ring at 11.30, and tho first raco starts at 12 sharp. No entry will bo received,, except on condition that all disputes shall bo left to the decision of a majority of tho Stewards present, or those whom they may appoint; their decision on all points must be accepted as final. Any jockey riding except in the colors entered will bo fined £2. All protests must bo made in writing and lodged with the Secretary, with a deposit of £l, within fifteen minutes after the race, the deposit to be forfeited if the. Stewards consider the protest frivolous or vexatious. Owners are particularly requested to observ that to avoid being fined, notice of scratchings must be banded to the Secretary fifteen minutes before the time appointed to start, A hack horse is one in actual use as a back and which libb never run for any other than back races, Entries and acceptances must be made in writing and addressed to tho Secretary of the F.R.C., Fcatlierston, accompanied by the necessary fees with name, pedigree, age and color of horse and (in cases of handicap, tho previous performances) also colors to be worn by riders. The Starter lias tho power to placo fractious or kicking borsos and disobedient jockeys in any position li<' Hiinh necessary to fecure a fair start, and lines for disobedience will be strictly wforced. Nominations for Handicaps will close at the Royal Hotel, Fcatlierston, on Tuesday, the Ist day of December, at 8.30 p.m. Weights will be declared on Monday, 14th Decomber, at 8.30 p.m. Acceptances for Handicaps to be made on Monday, 21st Decomber, at 8.30 p.m. Tho winner of an advertised race of L 75 or over, after tho declaration of weights, to cany 51b extra in the F.R.C.
