This Company is formed to purchase (lie well known birsiuess and interest in the premises at present carried on and held by Messrs Dwan and Co., Auctioneers, General Commission Agents, and Merchant!), Marmora street, Wellington, and to carry on the same on a mora extensive scab, and by inducing all classes of the community in town and country to become shareholders, it is anticipated that the proposed Company will be ono of the most marked business successes in the city and district of Wellington, 2. Tho Convpauy will lake a transfer of h o business, goodwill, ORercies, goods ou consignment, lease of premises, _ with a purchasing clause, at a low valuation, &c., paying for the Biime the sum of live thousand pounds (£5,000), in the following manner—namely, £2OOO by fully paid up shares in the Company, and the balance by instalments at short dates, as may bo arranged, and as the capital of the Company is called up, Tho stock-in-trade, merchandise in store, and any other assets belonging to the present business may bo taken at a valuation or not, as the directors may elect. 3. The object of the Company will be to carry on tho business of Auctioneers, Land, Estate, and General Commission Agents, and a mercimtilo business generally, and by offering special inducements to farmers and others by making advances on goods placed in tho hands of the Company for sale, and commanding the utmost facilities for successfully and expeditiously realising the proceeds in this ov other markets, to so extend the operation of tho Company that the want of a larger capital alone prevents the present proprietors from attaining to. 4. While it is possible to obtain cash advauces'on produce, stock, and real estate, yet fh i! conditions usually imposed are found seriously inconventenl to borrowers, by reason of the public registration of ramtgages and liens; 'therefore the special advantages offered by this Company is one which farmcis and others will appreciate. fi. Shareholders in this Company will be enabled to borrow on tho most favorable terms, and will also have prtjcrentlal consideration; for they will be enabled (o obtain advances on growing crops, stock, ivc, without the transaction being made too public and proclaimed to everybody.
