Roto-Secretary Public Works, re pv6' claiming the' Forty-Mile Bush road a County road.' ",.' : - •■;"/,•■.■: Rom Clerk of West County, forwarding copy of resolutions re appointment of registration officers, under The Registration of Dogs Act, 1880, and also calling the attention of the Board to the fact that heavily-loaded wagons with narrow thus were travelling over the main.road, and suggesting the advisability of taldug steps to.ensuro the introduction of broad tires. Also, one stating that the Comity had voted the sum of £IOO for the purposo of repairing the road between Masterton and the Camp. ■. From the Commissioner of. Crown Lands, stating that the Crown Grant of section No. ; 84,, Rangitumau, had" not matured.

From J. W. Lang, requesting the Board to do something'to improve tho toll-house at Te Ore Ore.

From Clerk CastlepointHiglrway Board, stating that that Board declined togrant a sum of 15 to assist in repairing the Upper Tauera road. . Street' for work done on the bush track between Wainuioru and the Coast. . ■
