The Produce iiace is for all horses bred and trained in the district and that have never started for an advertised race. In case of a protest, the same must be lodged with the Secretary within fifteen minutes after the race is run, with a deposit of £2; such deposit to be forfeited if the protest bo found trivial or vexatious. The winners of first day's hack races will not be allowed lo run for those onthesecond day; nor will the dinner of the £lO hack on either day be allowed to run for the smaller c;ttch weight hack race, No person will be allowed to enter a horse unless he bi a subscriber of at least £■ 1 to tlii-Jockey Club fund. No scratching of horses to be done except it be through the Secretary. General eturies to bo made to at the Club Hotel, Masterton, between the hours of 7 and 9 o'clock on the evening of Thursday, November '27 th. previous to the race meeting. Acceptances for Opaki Stakes Handicap close at 15 minutes after'the Ladies' Purse is run. Weight< for the Hurdle Race to be declared same night as the Opaki Stakes Handicap. Acceptances for Hurdles to close on Tuesday evening not later than 8 o'clock. Acceptances for District Handicap will close 15 minutes after the weights are declared oa the second day after the Produce Race is nm. Nominations for Consolation Handicap to he made to the Secretary 15 minutes after the District Handicap is run.
