The District liace is i pen to all horses owned in the district at least six month previous to this Knee M eting. The Produce liace is for all horses bred and trained in the district and that have never started for an advertised race. In case of a protest, the same must be lodged with the Secretary within fifteen minutes after the race is run with a deposit of £2; such deposit to be forfeited if the protest be found trivial or vexatious, The winners of first day's hack races will not bo allowed lo run for those on the second day; nor will the winner of the £lO hack on either day be allowed to run for the smaller catch weight hack race.
