The “Daily Telegraph’s” Berlin correspondent states that at a Congress of Surgeons, Professor Don Noorden, of Frankfort announced that he would shortly give a demonstration of a new preparation called horment, which is a substitute for insulin. LONDON, April 21.
Televis’on may be said to be on the verge of realisation, thxcuidi the medium of Mr Baird’s invention. The first trans-Atlantic demonstration was commenced to-day. when “sounds of the inventor's face” were picked up in New York.
