Prices fluctuated considerably, especially in soft fruits, green peas, potatoes, and particularly poultry. Our small yarding realised much lower prices than the week, We sold : 436 hens at 2s to 8/6, 38 cock birds at 3/6 to 7/6, 81 ducks at 5/6 to 11/6, 69 ducklings at 5/6 to 9/1, 20 geese at Ils to 18s, 5 goslings at 12s, 28 pigeons at 8d to 1/-, 35 small chickens at lOd to 2HO, 4 bantams at-2/4 to 3/6, 2 cockerels at 6/4, 1 hen and 12 chicks for 18s, and 1 hen and chicks for ss, and 12 turkey gobblers at 1/6 Ad to 2s Id per lb Sweet peas: 2/6.
