CHASTENED INDUSTRIALISTS. COMING OFF THE HIGH HORSE. PER PRESS ASSOCIATION —COPYRIGHT LONDON, Nov. 21. The Daily Mail's Dusseldorf correspondent says the chastened industrialists are expected to re-open negotiations fo rthe resumption of deliveries. Their sufirender is anticijiated because the embittered population is demanding the confiscation of their properties as a punishment for attempting to force the ten hours’ day by starvation. The labour organisations throughout the Ruhr declare their willingness to work under the French if they confiscate the mills and mines. Thus Herr Stinnes and his colleagues see themselves isolated.

The French seized one of the mines without a single soldier’s assistance and the miners begged to be allowed to return to work immediately.
