A panic was caused at Konzierthaus, where Professor Hirs.chfleld Belliner was reading a paper on sexual crime. Pan-German students, armed 4ith rubber cudgels, rushed the platform shouting anti-Jewish cries, and threw stink bombs among the audience. The explosion of numerous fireworks caused the impression that revolvers were being used, and the auddienee fled in a panic. Those remaining were severely handled by the Pan-Germans. The police made several arrests.
