(Received after edition goes to 'rcee). In connection with the New Brighton poisoning tragedy, a telegram re,ceived to-day states that the survivors are in much the same condition as yesterday. A post mortem investigation conducted by Dr. Pearson, pathologist at the Christchurch Hospital, revealed that the poisoning was probably due to bacteria in the milk used for making the blanc mange which was eaten by the Coko family at tea. A Nelson jnessage states that a farm house belonging to Thomas Organ, in the Takaka district, was burned down last evening. His daugh ter, aged six, and John Gillyard, aged 60, were burned to death.
