TO-DAY’S FOOTBALL The match School v Northern Juniors was played this afternoon. North ern, if anthing were the heavier team, but the School had more active men in the back division. The game taken all through was an even one. Northern for the first half of - * the game had the better of it, but later School evened up matters. The game ended School 13, Northern 9.
Tries were scored for School by A. Hayman, F. Wilce and Gibson, Wild and Hayman converting. Scores for Northern were mad eby Lindsay, C. Harrison, and Denholm. Mr Smith refereed.
Play at half-time in the senior match at Victoria Park was: Marists 3; Southern Nil. ,
