Sir Arthur Wickard, chairman of th e Guarantee Committee, has received a letter from Mr Verbrugghen, stating that if he returns it must be the end of all petty interferences in his work and the moneys due must be paid him before returning. The Committee meets to-day to discuss the position and to also consider the disbanding of the orchestra or of reducing the strength.
