DAY OF SPECIAL PRAYER

A manifesto signed by the Chaplain of the Fleet, the Chaplain-General of the Forces, and the Chaplain-Chief of the Royal Air Force has been issued, inviting all citizens of the British Empire to set aside Empire Day as a day of special prayer for the spiritual welfare of His Majesty’s forces in all parts at Homo and abroad. DANGERS OF POISONOUS PROPAGANDA. SYDNEY, May 22. Several addresses an Empire Day, were delivered on Sunday, the keynote being the necessity far combating poisonous propaganda disseminated with the object of undermining the British Empire. Mr Bruntnell was eulogised for the decree compel] in er the saluting of the flag.
