FIRE AT WAITUNA

HOUSE COMPLETELY DESTROYED. A fire broke out in the front portion of a five-roomed house occupied by Mr Alex. Cochrane, of Fruitlands-, Waituna, at about two o’clock: this morning, resulting in the complete destruction of the building, together with the contents. ’ Mr Cochrane had recently disposed of his live stock and implements and was about to take his departure from the district next Thursday, his furniture and effects being already pack ed for removal.
