MORVEN. (From Our Own Correspondent). The harvest ball held last Thursday evening in the Morven Hall, in aid of the Hall funds, was from every point of view , a great success. The stage was tastefully decorated by the Committee with evergreens and sheaves of grain making it look like a real harvest home. The music supplied by Smart’s Band, of Oamaru, was all that was desired, the time and quality of the music supplied being excellent. Mr P. Connell, of Tawai, as M.C., fulfilled his duties in a capable manner and kept the dances going merrily till after 2.30. ,
