The “Daily Mail” states that astronomers are preparing to study the planet Mars, which is travelling towards the earth at a speed of 1,000,000 miles daily. It will be nearest on June 18, when it will be 42,500,000 miles away. Observations are taking place in North America, Australia and New Zealand.
