NAVAL AND MILITARY EXPENDITURE INCREASED. NO NEW TAXATION. Per Press Association —Copyright. Paris, May 17. The Budget for 1923 provides for a total expenditure of 23 milliard francs. Of the 280,000,000 francs deficit, means of a loan. Military expenditure has been inthree milliards have to be covered creased to the extent of 240,000,000 francs, and naval expenditure by 323,000,000 francs. There is no new taxation.
