IRISH TURMOIL.
NOTE OF ALARM. DISORDERS ON TRADE (Per Press Association—Copyright). London, May 15. The Times Dublin correspondent reports that an urgent note of alarm concerning the effects of disorders on trade and commerce, has been sounded by the federation of the Irish commercial travellers, who have issued a manifesto to the effect that their firms will be notified unless the disorders cease, aud a settlement arrived at. Credit will be completely restricted, and, consequent upon carrying on, companies declining liability for the care and delivery of goods, a total cessation of trade will follow.
MORE FACTORIES SEIZED. London, May 16. lour more factories have been seized and are being worked by the employees.
ANOTHER LONDON MEETING. IRISHMEN TO CONFER. LONDON, May 15. It is understood that an Irish Conference will be held in London at the end of the week. It will include Sir James Craig, Mr Collins and Mr Griffith. SOME ABSENTEES. LONDON, May 16. Sir James Craig states that he has not received an invitation to the London Conference, and he hopes he will not receive one. It is practically certain that Sir James Craig will decline to come to London. Mr Collins, also, is unable to attend owing to pressure of work in Dublin.
