TAWAI. (From our own Correspondent). On Friday evening last, a most en-

joyable social was held in the Tawai School, the proceeds of which are to be devoted to the school sports’ fund. As it was a clear moonlight night, ther e was a splendid attendance, and all appeared to have a most enjoyable time. Music for the dancing was supplied by Mr C. Pelvin, and Mr Bob Smellie made a efficient M C Songs by Mrs J. Pelvin, and . stepdances by Mi- J. Brohan were much appreciated.
