» THE SPRINGBOKS. Per Press Association—Copyright. MELBOURNE, January 10. Tno Springbok athletes were welcomed at the Federal Parliament. Several Ministers were present. Mr J. G. Emery, manager of the visitors, stated that the visit was not only a matter of sport ’out to foster good feeling and fellowship between Africa and Australia and New Zealand, and also strengthen the Empire. He looked forward to the Empire competing at the Olympic games as one body instead of being split up as it present.
