There was a large attendance and the track was in good order. The totalisator investments were £65,069, compared wjth £72,528 for the second day last year. Results: — SPREYDON HURDLES— Sir Fanciful . . 1 Tigritiya 2 Penury Rose . 3 All started. Mickey Free and Wild Pilgrim fell. Won by a length. ISLINGTON HANDICAP— Pine Arch 1 Royal Star 2 Bonnie Maid 3 Scratched—General Advance and Arch Salute. Won by four lengths. (Descriptive notes appear on another page).
