WORLD’S CHAMPIONSHIP. Blenheim, this day. Arnst this morning deposited £25 with Mr R. P. Furness, proprietor of the “Marlborough Express.” covering Hadfield’s deposit regarding the 'world’s sculling championship, to be rowed either on the Wanganui or the Wairau Rivers. The champion prefers the Wairau, but nothing is definitely fixed. Arnst starts training immediately for the contest, which takes place about three months hence.
