The Afghan Ambassador at Angora, speaking at a banquet celebrating the ratification of the Turco-Afghan Treaty said Afghanistan realises that Turkey ■ is fighting for her rights, Britain assist- . ing Breece in order to support Christians against Moslems. I “We Moslems of the Orient missed a great opportunity during the war, but now we realise the facts. Afghanistan purposes adopting towards India the same attitude as Britain adopts against I Turkey. As long as Britain openly or secretly aids Greece we, in conformity with the new treaty, intend to continue the encouragement of Indian revolutionaries, stirring up the frontier tribes. The Oriental people do not propose to remain quiescent in view of the aggression of Western Powers.”

A DIFFERENT STORY,’ LONDON, August 8. The Afghan Mission has reached London. The prospects of tho completion of the treaty are brighter, consequent on the Greek victories in Asia Minor.
