PREPARING FOR EVACUATION KEMAL'S TACTICS. , (Reuter's Telegrams.) CONSTANTINOPLE, Aug. 7. The Kcmalists are removing from, Angora to Cessarea the archives and Government stores, preparatory to evacuation. It seems improbable therefore that the Nationalists will make a last stand west of Angora, MuStapha Kemal’s policy .being to preserve tbb army as much as possible, while reckoning that the further the Greeks advance L,e more they will weaken -themselves.
The people* of Angora are panicstricken by the plans for retirement, and the Greek aeriaL bombardments, but the authorities are said to lie sanguine of final success.
