PURSUANT to Sections 8 and 9 of “The Local Bodis’ Loans Act, 1913,” I hereby give notice that a poll of Ratepayers will be held on WEDNESDAY, 7th September, 1921 on the undernoted loan proposal:— PURPOSE FOR WHICH LOAN IS REQUIRED. To provide for the installation of an Electric Light and Power System for the Horougti. Fifty Thousand Pounds (£50,000). PROPOSED SECURITY and provision for the repayment of the loan rate of sevenpence and one fifth (7 l-sth) in the £ on the unimproved value of all rateable property in the Borough of Waimate. Loan with interest at 5 per cent and sinking fund 1 per cent per annum. The cost of raising the loan and the first year’s interest and sinking fund will be paid out of the loan.
