AGITATION IN TOKIO. [Per Press Association—Copyright.] [Australian and N.Z. Cable Assn.] Received Illis day, 8.45 a.m. TOKIO., November 16. Tile student societies at thiee private universities in Tokio organise! a meeting to ddbiaite the question, “Shall Japan fight America?” The police twice summoned the students’ committeemen, and unsuccessfully hied to persuade them to change tile subject. Great public interest is being taken in the meeting. The Labour and Socialists’ representative es have requested the students to permit them to participate in the discussions. The newspapers continue to agitate the California question, the anH-Ministerial press questioning Baron Hara’s recent statement, and declaring that anti- Japanese sen'.linen ti is rife, not only in ’Lfu.t •throughout the United States.
