BEGISTBATION. The fee for all places is Bd. The cci der of a registered article may obtain an acknowledgement of its due reoeipt by the addießsee on payment, at the tune oi Boating of the article, of an " acknowledgment fee" ©f twopence halfpenny, ia addition to the ordinary registration fee. PARCELS. Inlantt, 6d for the first lib, and 8d for each succeeding lib or fraction thereof. Australian Colonies, Cook, Sanioan, Norfolk, and Hawaiian Islands, 8d for the first lib, and 6d for each succeeding lib iraction thereof. Tfce post office is not, by law, lesponeibl for any loss or inconvenience whioh may arise from the non-delivery, misending or mis-delivery of any unregi°ered letter, or other postal packet, nor is it esponsible for any injury which a packet may custain during transmission. To guard against their being injured, all postal packets which are likely to suffer bom stamping or from great pressure should be placed in strong covers.

LIMITS OF BIZB AND WEIGHT. The limits of Bize lor book-packets are 18in. in any direction. If made up in the form of a roll, a packet may measure up 2ft. 6in. in length and 4in. in diameter ; th« weight must not exceed 41b. PA.ITEBN AND SAMPLE PACKETS. BOW CO PACK. A book packet may be posted either ithout a cover (in wLich case it must not be fastened in any way) or in a cover ntirely open at one or both ends. It may t>« tied at the ends with hiring, but the iring must be easy to unfasten.
