THE HOBOKEN DOCKS DISASTER.
On July 6th, Mr Saddon telegraphed to the President of the United States at Washington, aB follows: — "The people of New Zealand deeply deplore the great loss of life and properly by the disastrous tire at the Hoboken Docks, and extend to your great nation their sincere sympathy." Yesterday the following reply w.^s received :—": — " The President charges me to return his heartfelt tlrmks for your message of condolence for the Hoboken calamity. —Hay."
