McGuigan, J. Mu rduch, and T. W. ISriioe were included in the list of proposed appointees to the Legislative Council, hut declined the’honour on the ground that their services were useful to local institutions, notwithstanding the powerful influence of their many friends to entice thorn to grace the Chamber with their presence. —1 am, etc., MAC KEX 7A KITE.
