WARNING TO PARENTS. PER PRESS ASSOCIATION. —COPYRIGHT ] WANGANUI, June 25. At a special meeting of the Wangtnui Branch of the Railway Officers’ Institute, a resolution was carried supporting the action of the recent delegation to the Minister of Railways, and protesting against the recommendations of the last Railway Committee on the officers’ petition not being given effect to. The meeting also expressed opinion that the Hon. A. M. Myer’s offer to a recent deputation was totally inadequate to alleviate the pressing needs of the first division. A resolution was also earned, warning the parents against, allowing their sons to enter a service s ■ inadequately paid, and whose conditions are so much behind other branches of the Civil Service,
