The Rt. Hon. Andrew Fisher (Federal Premier) resumed tho censure debate.

Mr. Fisher, in reply to the Hon. Alfred Deakin’s criticisms, defended the Commonwealth hank and land tax. The bank’s circulation was more than double that of all the private banks and produced a not interest of £IBO,OOO, The land tax had broken up 1000 largo estates into 20,000 small farmers’ holdings. Ho further eulogised the conduct of the Brisbane strikers.
