Tho appointment is announced of tite Hon. John Robert Sinclair, M.L.C., of Dunedin, as Now Zealand’s representative on the Imperial Trodo Commission in the place of Sir Joseph Ward who resigned. Mr. Sinclair is at present in England.

(The Hon. J. R. Sinclair was appointed to the Upper House by Sir Joseph Ward in 1907. He is a solicitor and has been chairman of a High School Board, His appointment to tho Upper House is for seven years.]
